  • Ensure the cylinder valve is closed tightly.
  • Do not attempt to remove valves or fittings.
  • Store cylinders upright in a well-ventilated area until collection.
4. Is there a cost for collection and disposal?

Charges vary depending on cylinder type, quantity, and location. Contact us for a tailored quote. In some cases, collection may be free if part of a recycling programme.

5. ​​​Can I drop off cylinders at your facility?

No, we don't allow drop-offs at our facility. Please call us to arrange a collection to ensure safe handling, transport and compliance with site safety protocols.

6. ​What happens to the cylinders after collection?

Cylinders are inspected, depressurised, and either refurbished for reuse or recycled as scrap metal. Hazardous residues are treated according to UK waste management standards.

7. ​Do Titan Sky provide documentation for compliance?

Yes, we issue Waste Transfer Notes and Certificates of Disposal for compliance and audit purposes.

8. Are there any cylinders you do NOT accept?

We do not accept cylinders containing unknown substances or radioactive materials. Please contact us for guidance if you are unsure.

Collection is typically arranged within 3–5 working days. However, we can arrange same day or next day collections subject to availability and location.
